My message this week is in the form of a Thanksgiving prayer for each of you my friends and family. But first I want you all to know that I am truly thankful for each of you who take the time to read my weekly ramblings. I pray that my thoughts and observations might be a source of inspiration or at least entertainment for you. It is my great pleasure and privilege to reach out in the name of Jesus to hopefully touch someone’s heart with the word of God and/or my feeble attempt to interpret that word. Precious Lord, I pray blessings upon all who read these words. May this Thanksgiving Day bring them the Joy of gathered family and friends, May it remind us all of the many blessings we have received by your hand. May we all feast at the table of our Thanksgiving repast, giving thanks for your abundant provision. But even more, may we feast at the table of your love that our spirits may be filled with more of YOU! Father, we know that for some this is not a time of joy but rather of sadness, loneliness and perhaps even regret. Give us opportunity we pray to reach out in love and comfort. For others this is a time, not of feasting but of hunger, grant that we may be led to provide for them from our abundance. Lord make us truly thankful for the blessings we have received be they great or small. But more than anything else may we be thankful for your greatest gift, the gift of your son Jesus who came and set at table with us all and shared Himself! This is our greatest blessing and it is in His name that I Pray. Amen Happy Thanksgiving one and all!
